CLEAR THE SHELTERS ON AUGUST 15

This Caturday, August 15th, hundreds of shelters across America will be participating in Clear The Shelters Day. The event has been organized by NBC-owned television stations as well as Telemundo.

Participating shelters will be reducing or waiving adoption fees for eligible adopters on Saturday.

If you’ve been thinking about getting a pet, always make adoption your first option and visit a local shelter. For a listing of participating shelters in your area, visit the Clear The Shelters website.

Please be a responsible adopter. Pets are a lifetime commitment. Be sure that you are financially stable to take on the commitment of responsible pet ownership, which can cost well over $1,000 per year.
