We recently had the pleasure of testing out a toy from Jackson Galaxy and Petmate; and it’s a cat toy that you should know about. It’s the “Air Prey Wand with laser attachment” and it’s tons of fun for all cats (and their humans).

The Jackson Galaxy Air Prey Wand has a convenient telescopic feature

The pole is telescopic, so it’s very easy to store… and you’ll need to store it away from cats because they can’t seem to get enough.

The feathers or “prey” are also retractable. With a push of a button, the feathers retract to prevent tangles.

To make things even more interesting, the toy comes with a small laser to “prime” your cat before you start playing with the feather toy. When the feathers are “flown” overhead, they look and sound like a real bird flying which makes it even more exciting to watch and play.

It’s easy to get carried away with this toy so be careful not to get too crazy with the wand and keep you and your kitty safe during play…

The bottom line: If your cat enjoys chasing and loves “air pursuits” like watching birds or catching flying bugs, your cat will surely love the Jackson Galaxy Air Prey Wand with Laser Toy by Petsmate.

I’m not sure if the toy with the laser is available yet in stores, but here is the one without the laser…
