A CATMAS MIRACLE

Just before Catmas, little 10-week old Gunnison was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. Gunnison was staying at Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, when they noticed he had a little limp. He was sent to the vet for an examination to be sure that it was nothing too serious. The results were shocking. The X-ray showed an almost complete bone disintegration at the joint. The initial diagnosis given was a rare bone cancer, for which treatment is extremely costly.

Kitty Bungalow put out the word to the cat community with hopes to raise $5,000 for Gunnison’s treatment and possible leg amputation and thankfully, their wish was granted by the generous cat community.

The Miracle

Gunnison just went in for his first follow up of the New Year and the latest results were astonishing. His new X-rays show bone growth! Everyone is very optimistic and hoping that he may keep his leg! More lab results are due next week – so we’ll keep you posted on his status. In the meantime, watch Gunnison get a relaxing massage after his cancer diagnosis from his friend, Isham.
