New evidence surfaces
A hearing regarding the revocation of Kristen Lindsey’s veterinary license will be delayed due to new evidence. Alley Cat Allies previously reported that a delay was possible. Today, Examiner.com confirms the earlier report. Kristen Lindsey, the alleged killer of neighborhood cat, Tiger, contradicted herself during a deposition on February 9, 2016 prompting the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to ask the judge in the case for a delay. The hearing was scheduled to take place next week, from March 8-10, 2016.
The Board’s motion for a hearing delay was just granted and the hearing will be moved to a later date. Kristen Lindsey is the Texas veterinarian who is accused of shooting and killing a neighborhood cat (Tiger) with a bow and arrow after posting the gruesome picture to her Facebook page. A public outcry ensued demanding that her license be revoked. Petitions circulated received over 400,000 signatures.
