think thrice (yes, not once, not twice, but thrice) about it.
Too many people are short-sighted when it comes to buying pets during the holidays (also, you should adopt, not buy) and often will abandon, neglect or surrender the pet to a shelter or animal control when they realize it’s too much work.
Please think of the life that is depending on you before you give it as a gift.
