ASPCA KITTEN GRADUATION

The ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) held a commencement ceremony for the 2nd graduating class of kittens from its Kitten Nursery on November 10, 2015. Like most graduation ceremonies, the commencement included motivational speeches, diplomas and a procession of kitten graduates! This year was particularly special because the 2015 Humane Awards ‘Cat of the Year’ honor was awarded to the kittens of the ASPCA Kitten Nursery.

The nursery, now in it’s 2nd year, is NYC’s first high-volume facility that helps tiny kittens, many of whom were neonates and were are too young to survive on their own. The facility is well-equipped to help these kitten and most have received extensive medical and behavioral rehabilitation to help them survive, thrive and make great companion animals for families looking for their next furry family member.

Take a look at the graduating class below! We hope they all find loving furever families very soon.  Wishing all the graduates a happy and healthy life (with a bottomless bowl of food, plenty of toys and lots of love!!!!)
