The Belgian authorities have asked the public to stop using social media.
The fear is that the public could inadvertantly give away their strategy or tip off potential terrorists through images of ongoing anti-terror operations in the country.
So when the Belgian authorities made this request, the people responded…by tweeting cat pictures using #brusselslockdown.
Please note: While the situation is far from funny – the response was full of cats, and therefore cute. We pray for the safety of the Belgian people and all peace-loving people in the world.
