Think Adoption First

At The Catnip Times, we believe that adoption should always be your first option when adding a new cat to your family. So look to your local animal shelter to find a cat that may be a mix.” For example, instead of getting a purebred siamese, look for cats with color points  there are many of them waiting in shelters. Plus when you adopt a shelter cat, you’ll see even more benefits including a) many characteristics of the full breed cat b) the hardiness of a cat that is not a pure-bred and c) you’ll be helping reduce cat homelessness and d) a friend for life.

Do you have a particularly playful cat? If so, tell us about him/her!
