Bear in the Cabinet

Bear in the Cabinet

Meet Bear, a superfan of The Catnip Times. We took notice of Bear a few months ago, not just for his dashing good Maine Coon-mix looks but for his cheeky purrsonality! Every time Bear and his mom Carmen comment on an article or picture, Bear is usually in an usual place in Carmen’s, er, Bear’s home…

Born in Battle Creek Michigan, on April 1, 2012, Bear is no fool. He’s an amazingly smart, sweet and tech-savvy cat! Coming up on his 4th birthday, his mom, Carmen loves him to pieces and loves taking pictures of Bear in all of his crazy poses.

Their meeting seemed to have a touch of synchronicity. Bear’s mom recalls, “One day, I was outside, checking the mail and a lady drove up. She asked me to take him or else he was headed to the pound. He was the last and the runt of the litter.” Carmen took one look and it was love at first sight.

The two support each other and Carmen doesn’t know what she would do without this cheeky little (now big) guy!
