Little Bit is a unique cat. She is a large spayed brown tabby mix, kindof funny because her head is relatively small in relation to the rest of her body. She thinks she is human apparently and tries to open doors by trying to turn the knobs (which scares me thinking someone is trying to break in)
She has five roommates and tends to look upon them with discrimination due to their lack of intelligence (so she says) if they try to cuddle with her, she pushes them away with her back foot (hilarious) she has NO maternal instincts at all..
At mealtime, (she loves to eat) she talks to me the whole time I’m fixing their bowls. She has a ‘squeaky’ meow and stands up to the counter like a dog to oversee the process..
I can also pat my leg and she stands up to be petted like a dog, (she’s so smart).
Little bit never meets a stranger and always greets our guests with a squeaky hello. She also meets me every day at my car when i come home from work, ready to come inside for the night. She is very special to us!

    • Lauren December 12, 2013 at 7:53 pm

All my cats are special. My 2 older ones Bailey and Lucy because they’ve always been there. My 2 new kitties because I rescued them from the outdoors when their mom abandon them. These 2 new kitties have turned out to be such sweet babies, I think they know they have been saved and are safe and warm.

My Feral Family – contact name Lenore Benefield, 7241 Jasmine Rd. Ft Myers, FL 33967. I do independent (pay for it myself) TNR(release or rehome). Each cat I catch is evaluated and tamed if possible. Then taken to a clinic for spay or neuter (rabies, distemper, deworming, deflea), provided 3 to 7 days of recuperation. Adults (untamable) are returned (released), kittens are fostered until adoption with help from local rescues to loving indoor only homes.

    Winging Cat Rescue Inc.
    492 Westmoreland Rd
    Griffin, GA 30223

We are a foster based rescue group and have been the lucky recipients of some Litter Lifters in the past! Our group does adoptions for those cats and kittens we pull from local animal controls (after they are fully vetted including spay/neuter), we also promote spay/neuter and offer financial assistance for cat owners to get their kitties “fixed”. We can have as many as 125 rescues in foster care with several fosters –

    • Lauren December 19, 2013 at 7:30 pm

Thank you Barbara! Keep up the great work!
